“Welcoming, Friendly and Homely!!! :D”
25 November 2012
My Mother, my three year old cousin and myself stayed here in Nov 12. The little one arrived to a teddy on his bed, which was a lovely present from Eileen. There was a lovely area for him to play out in and feed the birds. Perfect accomadation for my mother who is disabled as it is all on one level with a walk in shower. Great location to travel all over Cork. Modern, warm cottage great for having family come visit us. Would go back again :-D

“It was a great holiday and we really enjoyed our stay in Ireland!”
15 September 2012
We found the cottage very easyly after arriving in ireland. The owener contacted us in time to regulate the details of our arrival. Eileen was very kind and gave us many travel-tips. She helped us immediately whenever there was any question or problem.
The Cottage was very nice- it was clean and the facility was good. We really enjoyed our holiday and would rent this cottage again.

“Nice Cottage with a very friendly owner!”
22 July 2012
The cottage is very beautiful and big enough for two persons. We stayed there for three times.
Eileen is perfect in service and helps wherever she can. Now we are very good friends. Thank you Eileen! See you soon when we come back to Ireland forever

“Superb Hospitality”
5 June 2012
The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We were using it as a base whilst touring around Southern Ireland and we found it to be an ideal location. The cottage itself was well appointed with a lovely walk down to the privately owned river front. We mainly self catered during our stay and found the local supermarkets and shops in Mallow had all we required, however the fresh lettuce and eggs brought to us by our superb hostess were an added bonus. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for high quality accommodation in an great location.

“What a winning combination”
14 April 2012
What a winning combination! My husband and I live in Australia and wish to highly recommend Ashfield Cottage near Mallow in County Cork, Ireland and the kindness and hospitality of the hostess Eileen O'shea who lives nearby in Ashfield House. The cottage is a top quality modern warm attractive single story square building and the help and advice of Eileen was always available. We stayed there for a time as our Irish ancestors came from that area. It was a central hub to Killarney, Tipperary, Cork/Cobh and the Rock of Cashel. The Cottage is in a rural setting with a short walk to the Blackwater River famous for it's fishing. We have wonderful memories of the comfort and care at Ashfield Cottage.

“The best host ever!”
6 April 2012
Ashfield has the best host ever! Eileen is a wonderful and caring host that does everything to make your stay pleasant. The cottage is also of highest standard, it's equipped with everything you need for a decent living during your stay. We were so pleased with our visit 2011, that we have decided to come back during the summer of 2012. And we live in Sweden!
